Staying at Centrum Hostel in Lviv turned out to be quite the adventure, albeit not the smoothest one. After a chaotic journey involving border waits and errant bus stops, my friend and I finally arrived around 9 PM, buzzing with hunger. The check-in process was less than ideal since we had to wait for about 40 minutes for the owner to return, which dampened our spirits a bit. The hostel itself is simple and centrally located; it's just a stone's throw from popular attractions like the Palace of Counts Pototskikh and the Palace of Armenian Archbishops. We particularly appreciated the free WiFi and a shared kitchen, which made our time there quite functional despite some hiccups. The shared shower was a bit of a nuisance-especially when you're dealing with a group of lively guests at 7:30 AM! While the noise from other dorm mates and the owner herself was frustrating, the hostel had its perks. The location is great, with many shops and eateries nearby. If you're looking for budget accommodation with decent connectivity and are prepared to wrap your head around the quirks, Centrum Hostel may just fit the bill-but be ready for some lively interactions along the way!
